Design and industrialization
Manufacturing begins before the production line. Requirements are translated into specifications, drawings, bills of material, tolerances, process assumptions and verification plans. The exact process depends on the platform and whether it is reusable, disposable, mechanical or connected. Traceability links components, operators, equipment or process records and released batches at the level defined for the project.
Inspection, packaging and release
Final checks may include dimensional, dose-setting, activation, force, delivery, feedback, safety or cosmetic criteria, depending on the device. Test methods and acceptance limits must match the released specification. Packaging is controlled for materials, artwork, language, count and protection. Release verifies that required records are complete and deviations are resolved or appropriately dispositioned. Shipment documents do not replace product evidence. After release, complaints, nonconformance, corrective action and changes feed back into the quality system. Buyers should audit this record chain rather than rely on a factory photo.
